- Represent insurers and employers at formal or informal rehabilitation conferences for all Southern California venues. A detailed report with recommendations completed for each conference.
- Training for claims and legal staff on return-to-work, vocational rehabilitation and voucher requirements, procedures, and issues.
- Review complex files, document strategy, draft language (including case citations) for appeals of adverse Rehab unit Determinations.
- Expert witness and consultant on Le Boeuf cases. Review cases for return-to-work potential, develop report for documentation, testify as needed.
- DWC compliance audits – identify areas of non-compliance (and potential DWC penalties) and recommend procedures to insure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop letters and forms compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.
